Jeffery M. Leving’s self-portrait was exhibited at Richmond, VA, Art Space Gallery’s ThinkSmall8! biennial international miniature invitational exhibition curated by Santa De Haven. The exhibition features national and international artists with mini-masterpieces on view.

Leving’s abstract self-portrait composition is a construction of manipulated complex shapes in acrylic. There’s a traditional view that all three-dimensional shapes can be seen as variations on cones, cylinders, cubes and spheres. Leving’s approach reflects his footing in the contemporary world and journey through the world in a way that honors every man’s sense of self-worth.

Leving manipulated acrylic on canvas to create a dreamlike surrealistic impact in this painting.
