Jeffery M. Leving’s “Monet’s Sunset” 16 x 20 in. will be auctioned at the 28^th Annual Junior Council Snowball 2016 Gala in Chicago. The Snowball Gala is one of the hottest and most attended events in Chicago with over 1700 young professionals in attendance. The Junior Council, who organizes the Snowball Gala, supports the Pediatric and Adolescent HIV and AIDS programs of The Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

Leving’s visceral, gestural, abstract expressionist pieces tap the unspoken psychological content of struggle and transcendence, combining forms and figures with primitive markings and surreal spaces, all bound together by a serene compositional economy. Leving’s approach reflects his footing in the contemporary world and journey through the world in a way that honors every man’s sense of self-worth.
